CURR 231 (MS) Curriculum & Instruction: Math

This applied pedagogy-focused course provides candidates with opportunities to learn a variety of strategies, instructional approaches and assessment procedures to increase their ability to develop, deliver, integrate, and regularly assess mathematics competencies. Using the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, candidates practice mathematical skills, applications and problem-solving methods, and learn how to select and adapt standards-based curricula and supplementary materials in mathematics. This course is available to participants who have met Be A Teacher Pre-Service and Intern Program prerequisites. (PBS).
