U.S. Constitution Exam
The U.S. Constitution Exam is required to become an Intern or for credential candidates who have not met the CCTC course requirement for clearing their Preliminary Credential. If you are required to take the exam, consider one of the following options:
Take the Exam Through the North Coast School of Education
The North Coast School of Education offers the U.S. Constitution Exam for Credential Candidates. This exam is sponsored by Dominican University. The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions. A study guide about the Constitution of the United States of America and a copy of the U.S. Constitution are provided.
The cost is $100 cash or check payable to the Sonoma County Office of Education. This fee is waived for Designated Subjects Career Technical Education/Adult Education and General Education teachers currently enrolled in the North Coast Teacher Induction Program.
