CURR 253 (SS) Philosophy & History of Education

This course provides insight into the philosophical and historical issues in education that have created the current educational system. Interns are introduced to ethical and professional teacher responsibilities. Interns gain a perspective of why we have our current educational system and how it needs to change to provide for 21st Century learning. Case studies are analyzed to build knowledge of ethical and professional issues.
