CURR 252 (SS) Instructional Strategies for English Language Learners
All English learners must have full access to high-quality English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies content, as well as other academic subjects, while simultaneously learning English as an additional language. The CA ELD Standards are intended to support this dual endeavor by providing fewer, clearer, and higher standards that teachers can use to guide their instruction. During this class participants will learn how to support our English Learners using the English Language Development Standards and learn highly effective supports and strategies that will allow our English Learners to attain academic proficiency as well as learn an additional language.
