TECH 290 Technology in the Classroom

Students will be exposed to the principles and applications of technology within special education and general education settings. Exposure and examination will include conventional technology, online resources and demonstration of increased personal technology skills and instructional applications of technology within the classroom setting. Each participating teacher is a fluent, critical user of technology, able to provide a relevant education and to prepare his/her students to be life-long learners in an information-based, interactive society. The use of technology supports teaching and learning regardless of individual learning style, socioeconomic background, culture, ethnicity, or geographical location. Each participating teacher integrates these technology-related tools into the educational experience of students, including those with special needs
