SPED 233 Curriculum & Instruction for Students with Mild/Moderate Disabilities (ELA & Writing)

This course focuses on theoretical and practical aspects of teaching reading, writing, speaking and listening to students. A variety of strategies, instructional approaches and assessment procedures will be emphasized in order to ensure the intern’s ability to develop, deliver, integrate and regularly assess student progress in a high-quality literature and writing program. Particular attention will be paid to small class settings and meeting the needs of culturally diverse students.
