Professional Coaching and Mentoring Series

The North Coast School of Education is offering an optional Professional Coaching and Mentoring Series for Mentors wishing to further develop their mentoring practice. This 3 part series is available as indicated below. Part 2 is offered as a stand alone three-hour face-to-face training or may be combined with Parts 1 & 3 to be eligible for one extended education unit. For the 15-hour Professional Coaching and Mentoring Series which is eligible for a unit, please register for all three courses labeled Professional Coaching and Mentoring Series Parts 1, 2, and 3 (Part 1 will be available later Fall 2017 and Part 3 available January 2018).

Part 1: Building the Mentor Role is an online course which encompasses foundational material for mentoring. Registration will open later Fall 2017.

Part 3: Extending the Mentor Practice: PCMS Part 3 is designed to parallel Self-Guided Fieldwork. Mentors will be given Independent Practice options that allow for them to professional grow as a Mentor. Registration will be available in January 2018.

The dates below are only for Part 2, the face-to-face three hour training (taken as a one-time PD course or as part of the 15-hour UNIT).
