Health Education Online Course
The objective of this course is to meet the requirements of Education Code 44225 and 44265 as well as Title 5 Regulation 80463.5-80048.6: "...a course in Health Education, including, but not limited to nutrition, the physiological and sociological effects of alcohol, narcotics, and drug abuse, and the use of tobacco. This requirement must include verification of training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) that covers infant, child, and adult CPR skills."
This online health course is approximately 15 hours long. You may begin and stop at any time, completing the course within the semester that you began. This time allowance does not include the verification of training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) that covers infant, child, and adult CPR skills. Verification of CPR will be required.
Registration required for all educators seeking to take this class that are not currently enrolled in the North Coast Teacher Induction Program.
